2008 Parkinson Empowerment Program (PEP) teleconferences

The PEP teleconferences are vital to the Parkinson's community.  These teleconferences help to educate individuals about various topics and issues pertaining the Parkinson's and its process.  Since many people diagnosed with the disease in Nebraska live in rural areas or are older and don't like to drive long distances, this program offers them the opportunity to receive quality information about the current treatments and medical management of the disease.

Please check with the closest Parkinson's support group in your area for specific details of location or call the Information and Referral Center at 866-626-7347.  The following conferences have been scheduled:

Thursday, September 18 at 9:30am CST
Parkinson's Medications:  Their Role, Interactions, and Side Effects - Michele Faulkner, Pharm. D
